There is a possibility that he may return to the Australian playing 11 for the second Test match against the Caribbean team to be held in Sabina Park, Jamaica from July 12.
Steve Smith is doing special exercises
Let us tell you that Steve Smith is currently in New York, where he is doing a special exercise with a baseball batting gauge. Quoting Cricbuzz, Steve said – I used the baseball gauge to bat, which was below.
It was ideal for batting, because it was hot, about 36 degrees Celsius, so it was good to be in the shade. My friend actually told me about it and he was able to throw me a few balls there.
The 36-year-old veteran batsman further said – Everything looks good at the moment. I have just had my stitches removed and now I have a small bandage, so it will be easier to put my hand in the glove. I don’t really feel any pain or anything.
Just getting used to the bandage and a little limited movement. It’s not too bad, now I’ve got a lot of movement there, so it feels good. Hitting the ball feels completely fine.
Well, now it will be interesting to see whether he is able to play the second Test match against West Indies or not? Also, Australia have taken a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the first match of the three-match Test series by 159 runs.
