3am thoughts

Most programmers have probably experienced this — or maybe it's just me, I don't know. An unsolved problem or logic puzzle keeps our brain awake. Even in the middle of a peaceful sleep, a logic or idea can suddenly pop into our minds. Often, we remember it when we wake up. And many times, it's actually the right solution.

One such 3am thought for me was snipSmart, a JavaScript utility tool. (To know more about it, check out my previous blog.) This doesn’t happen just in programming — once we become deeply involved in something, giving it our heart and soul, our mind somehow finds a way to produce a solution. And now, technology has become the epitome of countless such thoughts from many brilliant minds. I just stand in awe of how far we've come. It's nearly impossible to keep up with every single invention out there. So, what do we do?

My motto has become “learn as you go.” If a project demands Next.js or Angular, just go learn it. With the rise of AI, learning has become a piece of cake. If you have the will to learn something, you can absolutely do it — all the resources are right at your fingertips. What really matters is your focus. Yes, it’s incredibly tempting to lose focus in this fast-paced, hyper-entertaining tech world. But if we can find a way to stay focused, we can achieve great things.

I just love my 3am thoughts. If you've had similar experiences, I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
