Can a mobile app help children feel safe, seen, and supported?

“Love. Care. Growth.”
That’s the heart of Bloom Creative Arts, where certified music therapists help children, adults, and seniors blossom through rhythm, movement, and connection.
From music therapy and sensory integration to speech and physical support, their work spans Buffalo, Rochester, Pittsburgh, and Bradenton, serving communities with deep care and clinical expertise.
So, when the founder of BloomiVerse came to us with a bold, human question: “Can we build a screen-time space that actually heals?”, we knew this wouldn’t be just another app project.
Enter Bloomiverse - a safe, mobile experience for kids, designed around music therapy, emotional learning, and content that uplifts instead of overwhelms.
But turning that vision into a real, working product? Not easy.
· YouTube? Too risky with kids getting into the rabbit hole of content.
· Hosting video content? Costly at scale.
· Tech stack? Needed to be fast, flexible, and sustainable.
That’s where the Forcoda team rolled up our sleeves and got to work.
From day one, we’ve been working side by side with the BloomiVerse team — shaping the product roadmap, defining a clear MVP, and keeping the long-term mission front and center.
What we’re building together so far:
• Emotion-based user journeys (calming, energizing, skill-building)
• Child-friendly graphics and characters
• Audio-only mode for screen-off moments
• Smart parental controls + screen time limits
• Admin dashboard for uploads, tagging, and analytics
• Lightweight mobile architecture using React + Node JS.
Behind the scenes, we’ve also helped BloomiVerse navigate critical technical decisions:
→ Decided on cloud video hosting options (Vimeo vs. AWS vs. Cloudflare Stream)
→ Modeled bandwidth costs and growth scenarios
→ Flagged early-stage risks before they could slow down progress.
The journey isn’t over but something truly meaningful is taking shape.
Not just in the app, but in a mission-led team building with empathy, not ego.
At Forcoda, we’re honored to support founders who care deeply about the people they’re building for and who aren’t afraid to rethink what digital wellbeing can be.
Not every app changes lives. But some like BloomiVerse? Absolutely will.
