How to Extrude in 3D CAD Software
Extrusion is one of the most fundamental techniques in 3D modeling, allowing users to transform 2D shapes into fully dimensional objects. In SelfCAD, the Extrude tool plays a crucial role in shaping and building models by extending surfaces or sketches along a specified path. Whether you're creating a simple box or developing a complex mechanical part, mastering extrusion is essential to unlocking the full potential of your designs. This article will guide you through the process of using the Extrude tool in SelfCAD, explaining its features, applications, and best practices for effective modeling.
