Tech Is My Extracurricular

“You're doing too much.”
“GeeksforGeeks? It’s average.”
“This isn’t what extracurriculars are supposed to look like.”

I’ve heard it all.
But here’s the truth: I’m not here to fit in. I’m here to build.

No Clubs. No Fests. Just Coding
In my first year of college, I was a nobody. Still am. I never hosted fests, became Ms. Fresher, or danced on stage. I never even participated in many college events.
Instead, I was sipping coffee like water, scrolling through my laptop when I stumbled upon a mine.
25 premium GFG courses
Enrolled in everything. Not because I had to… but because I wanted to.

💬"You’re wasting time."
People said it. Friends said it.
Some laughed when I joined a no-code hackathon.

“You're not even coding.”
“It's not a real hackathon.”
“You should be doing Kaggle or CP.”

Maybe they’re not wrong.
But I was trying.
And trying matters more than pretending.

💻 I Built Something — Even If It Was Basic
I built a working prototype. It wasn’t fancy. It didn’t win anything.
But I showed up, I shipped something, and I learned.
No prizes. No praise. Just quiet progress.
And when you’ve had no experience at all —
That’s a win.

🌍 Not All Extracurriculars Need a Stage
Some people do arts. Some sing, some model, some design.
I open my laptop, pour a coffee, and build.

For me, Tech is my creative space.
My learning zone. My personal brand in the making.

Courses are my clubs.
Projects are my performances.
Hackathons are my fests.

🧱 Brick by Brick, I’m Building a Future
No, I don’t have awards (yet).
No, I’m not in fancy societies.
No, I’m not posting certificates every week.
But I am building.
And I know what I want.

Success
That’s my north star.

So If You’re Like Me…

…not the loudest in the room, not the most popular,
but ambitious, hungry, and quietly putting in the work —
Let this be your sign:
You’re not behind. You’re just building your way.
You’re allowed to build slow.
You’re allowed to learn without showing off.
You’re allowed to choose tech as your “extracurricular.”

Hi everyone. I am a beginner of tech-equal parts curious and confused. Which means I currently live in the zone known as "excited but lost". Learning AI, Data Science, and coding my way through the chaos, one bug at a time. I’m on a mission to turn my “What even is this?” moments into “Okay, I kinda get it now" I’m learning by doing, making plenty of beginner mistakes, and sharing my journey so anyone else who’s starting from zero doesn’t feel alone. If you like honest progress, tech experiments, and occasional rants about confusing error messages, you’re in the right place. Follow along as I navigate this crazy, fascinating world of code — because every expert was once a beginner, right?
