I just discovered a game-changing prompt manager!

I often use AI tools to polish my writing, and the most annoying part is having to type the same prompts over and over again. I’ve been looking for a plugin or tool that lets me quickly insert my saved prompts directly into the AI input box.

A while ago, I tried QuickPrompt and Proompter, but neither really worked out for me.

  • QuickPrompt has a slash (/) command to call prompts, which I liked—it feels intuitive and fits my workflow well. The downside? It only works in ChatGPT, and the free version limits you to just 10 saved prompts. Since I mostly use ChatGPT anyway, that’s kind of okay, but the upgrade costs $19, which is a bit too steep for me.

  • Proompter felt even less smooth to use. When you click a prompt, it opens a new page and copies the template into it—not the most seamless experience.

I know there are tons of prompt manager tools out there, and it’s been a bit of trial and error… but today I finally found one that hits the sweet spot:
👉 FlashPrompt (https://www.flashprompt.app/)

It works exactly how I wanted:

  • You can trigger saved prompts by typing -keyword (instead of /keyword)

  • It works across any AI model, not just ChatGPT

  • You can highlight text and instantly save it as a prompt (super handy!)

  • And best of all: no limit on how many prompts you can save

If anyone else has found other great prompt manager tools, I’d love to hear your recommendations!
