Hey folks! 👋
Welcome to Week 1 of my Learn in Public journey as I take my first steps toward becoming a Cloud Engineer! 🚀

📚 The Course I’m Following

I’ve enrolled in “Ultimate AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner CLF-C02” by Stephane Maarek – one of the most comprehensive beginner-friendly AWS courses available.

🛠️ Week 1 Goals

  • ✅ Create AWS Account

  • ✅ Understand Root User vs IAM User

  • ✅ Explore IAM (Identity and Access Management) use cases

🧠 What I Learned

✅ AWS Account Setup

I created my AWS account and explored the AWS Management Console for the first time.

✅ Root User vs IAM User

  • Root User: Has full control, used only for initial setup and critical configurations.

  • IAM User: Created for day-to-day access with controlled permissions.
🛡️ Best Practice: Avoid using the Root account for regular tasks.

✅ IAM Use Cases

IAM is the gatekeeper of AWS! It allows you to:

  • Create users and groups

  • Assign policies and permissions

  • Enable secure and fine-grained access

  • Implement least privilege principle

🧭 Next Steps for Week 2

  • Dive deeper into IAM Policies

  • Start exploring EC2

  • Learn about AWS Global Infrastructure

Thanks for reading! 🙌
I’ll continue to post weekly updates as I go deeper into AWS and cloud concepts.

Let’s build together – feel free to share feedback, questions, or join the journey!
