🌟 Tech Didn’t Just Find Me — It Rescued Me

All techies and developers have their own unique stories. Some switch careers later in life, others start coding just for fun, and many are inspired by someone they admire.

In a similar way, my tech journey began at the age of 18 — not from a traditional tech background, but with a deep curiosity and a growing passion for computer science. What started as simple exploration quickly turned into a drive to build, learn, and create through technology.

🎓 From Sanskrit Studies to Source Code

Before stepping into tech, I was deeply immersed in academics at a science-oriented high school. Like many students, I believed the only career paths available were engineering or becoming a Chartered Accountant — because that’s all I had ever heard of.

At that point in life, forget about coding — I didn’t even know how to turn on a computer.

Following my family’s suggestion, I enrolled in a Sanskrit University. The idea was simple: becoming a Sanskrit teacher was considered a safe, respectable, and low-stress path — especially for a girl.

But little did I know… that would be the quiet beginning of a story I never saw coming.

🤍 The Whisper That Changed Everything

Even though there was no pressure on me to study hard, I felt something was missing. I wasn’t truly happy.

Deep inside, a voice kept whispering:

“This isn’t the life you’re meant to live.”

So with time on my hands, I started exploring the things I used to love — singing, drawing, yoga, and flipping through science books. But none of them clicked.

Then, something sparked. I chose Computer Science as an elective paper — just out of curiosity.

That one decision changed everything.

💻 My First Steps into Tech

With the guidance of a wonderful teacher, I got the chance to serve as a technical team member at my college. I only had basic computer knowledge, but I was completely fascinated by the tech behind streaming and broadcasting.

I started exploring online — diving deeper into how things work — and that’s when I found the magic: coding.

😵‍💫 At First, It Was Confusing

I began with free YouTube tutorials. Honestly, it was frustrating.

The syntax confused me.

The logic felt like a wall.

I sat through lessons not understanding much.

But something inside whispered:

“Just keep going. This is something special.”

And I listened.

✨ When It All Started Making Sense

After a few months, things began to click.

I started seeing how code flows, how logic builds, and how problems get solved like a puzzle.

It felt like magic.

It felt like purpose.

🚀 From Curiosity to Confidence

That spark turned into momentum.

I enrolled in a DSA course.

Started learning Full Stack Web Development

Began building real projects

And with every step, I felt more me.

🌱 Closing Thoughts — Just the Beginning

This was the phase where I went from:

Confusion → Curiosity → Confidence

From not knowing how to start a PC to writing my first lines of code — this journey has already taught me more than I ever imagined.

Not just about tech… but about myself.

But this is just the beginning.

In the next part, I’ll share:

How I started building real projects

Turning my skills into something visible and meaningful.

💬 If You're Still Figuring It Out…

You're not behind. You're not

lost. You're just getting started.

You don’t need to have it all planned.

You just need to start.
