Coding Journey #2

Context

Currently our 1st year’s post even sem vacation is going on. I spent the 1st week of my holidays by going certain places and hanged out with my friends a little. But one thing I would like to mention is that , before meeting with my friends , I was researching upon the development thing , which is a main part of our B.Tech course. Upon researching , I got to know to that there are different kinds of development excluding the web dev(I got a bit surprised as I didn’t know about this until now). I had in my mind that everyone will be doing web dev , as it is an important thing everyone will be going through in their career of software engineer , but I had it all wrong. The thing is development is a domain under which different kinds of sub skills are included in and one must master any one or two of them very deeply according to their interest.

Upon meeting my friends we began to discuss various fields(tech) and people who are into tech and what they all have learnt in a particular field of development (even looking upon profiles of individuals of our same batch).

Sub-Goal

After all the chaos and small decisions , I concluded that , I will be learning web dev this year(2nd) , and try to apply for GSOC with a goal for actually getting selected. I also have more plans ahead , but let’s just keep them for our future talks.

Till now , I had completed the basic HTML from the Sigma Web Dev course of CodeWithHarry from YouTube which is like around 13 videos from the playlist itself , and now I will be heading towards CSS. At last , I would like to give a suggestion to the people who are looking towards their web dev journey that , they should not stress much while memorizing the HTML tags and CSS properties. We will be learning them eventually while making valuable projects.
