An exciting scene was witnessed on the first day of the third Test between West Indies and Australia at Sabina Stadium in Jamaica. West Indies player Anderson Phillip took a catch by diving like a superman at mid-off, and he sent Australian star batsman Travis Head back to the pavilion.

The Australian team was playing on the first day of the third Test. Meanwhile, in the 65th over, when Justin Graves bowled a full length ball, Travis Head tried to play it but the ball bounced and went towards mid-off. Phillip ran fast and dived full length and caught the ball with both hands. This catch surprised everyone present in the stadium, even Travis Head himself was shocked.

On the first day of the third Test, Australia were bowled out for just 225 runs in the first innings. In this series, Australia have crossed the 300 mark in only the first Test. West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph bowled brilliantly and took four wickets for just 33 runs. Whereas, Jaden Sales and Justin Graves broke the back of the Australian team by taking three wickets each.

Batting first, Australia’s Sam Constas was LBW off Justin Graves’s ball for just 17 runs. After this, Usman Khawaja also left for the pavilion with just 23 runs. Earlier, Australia started the innings in a very poor manner.

6 wickets fell for just 80 runs

Australia’s middle and lower order batsmen could not do anything special. Due to the accurate bowling of Joseph and Graves, Australia lost its last six wickets for just 80 runs.

West Indies had scored 16 runs for the loss of one wicket till the end of the first day’s play. The match is in a tight spot but the hosts have a chance to take a first innings lead.
