Yash Dayal, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fast bowler, has recently been accused of sexual assault and exploitation by a woman, who alleged that he misled her on the pretext of marriage. The allegations surfaced shortly after Dayal celebrated RCB’s victory in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

According to the woman, she was in a relationship with Yash Dayal for five years, during which he repeatedly delayed their marriage plans. She also claimed to have discovered that Yash Dayal was involved with other women. Following these revelations, the woman filed an FIR against the pacer, leading to significant public outcry and legal troubles for Dayal.

Allahabad High Court grants stay on Yash Dayal’s arrest.

The FIR against the RCB pacer was filed on July 6 at the Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad under Section 69 of the BNS, relating to sexual intercourse by deceitful means. Yash Dayal approached the Allahabad High Court, which has now stayed his arrest.

A bench comprising Justice Siddharth Varma and Anil Kumar granted the stay of arrest until the next hearing. Commenting on the stay, the bench stated:

In response, Yash Dayal has filed an FIR against the woman, accusing her of stealing his iPhone and laptop, according to NDTV reports. He also alleged that she borrowed lakhs of rupees from him for medical treatment of herself and her family, promising to repay the amount, but has yet to do so.
