Day 2 — My First Website is Live! And I Finally Understand Typecasting

🌟 Day 2 — From Code to Website (Yes, It's Live!)
Today was full of firsts — I launched my very first website, and I also got into typecasting, macros, and more in C++. Feels good to actually do stuff instead of just watch.
💻 What I Did Today
🔷 C++
Studied Type Casting – implicit and explicit
Learned about
#define
Macros andconst
Covered operator types: arithmetic, relational, logical, bitwise, assignment
🐍 Python
Went through data types and variables
Observed how Python handles types dynamically
🌐 Web Development
Built and launched a tiny website using:
HTML for structure
CSS for basic styling
JavaScript for a little interaction
It's simple, but it’s online — and that feels cool.
💸 Monetization (sort of)
Skipped the full session
But listened to a 10-minute podcast on online income — so at least it wasn’t a total skip
🔗 GitHub Pushes
Updated:
cpp-practice
: added operator and macro filespython-vault
: basic notes + examplesweb-dev-start
: my first ever live site code
Green squares are showing up. Small wins.
🧠 Today’s Takeaway
Typecasting finally makes sense
Seeing code on a real webpage is exciting
Even doing a little is better than skipping completely
📌 Next Steps
Keep going in C++: next up is input/output and conditionals
Try building a basic page layout with HTML
Light Python practice — maybe if/else or loops
Try to do at least 30 mins of monetization tomorrow
That’s it for today. Tired, but glad I showed up.
Logged and done.
