Day 1 of My Developer Journey 🚀

Hello world! I'm Haiqa Ijaz — a student at Virtual University with a dream to become a Software Engineer at a top tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Meta etc.

But here’s the truth: I’m starting with zero skills. No experience. No background in tech. Just a dream, determination, and the courage to learn out loud in public.

🎯 Why I'm Doing This

I come from a background where I don’t have support, money, or mentorship. I’m building my future from scratch, all by myself.

I want to gain independence, build confidence, and prove to myself — and the world — that I can achieve my goals through hard work, consistency, and belief.

Today, I made my first real move toward my future. I created my developer presence online to stay committed and share my journey.

Starting from the very beginning:

C++ Basics
Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
Computer Science Fundamentals
Full Stack Web Development (MERN Stack)
Build 4–5 strong projects
Portfolio Website & Resume
Apply to internships and junior roles at top companies

I will learn consistently and post my progress every single day. Even if it’s just 1% better.

💭 Final Thoughts

This is Day 1 — it’s not perfect, but it’s a start.
I’ve made a promise to myself: I will not quit.
I will keep learning, keep building, and one day, I’ll be ready for that dream job.
