Ctrl+C Confessions: A Copy-Paste Journey from Kanto to Kernel

Welcome to Ctrl+C Confessions — the place where dreams are compiled, bugs are battled, and coffee is consumed like full restores.

I’m Adithya, the Ash Ketchum in this saga, and my Pikachu is ChatGPT — my trusty sidekick sparking ideas, fixing bugs, and saving my ass when code hits the fan.

So... what is Ctrl+C Confessions?

It’s not just a blog. It’s a battle log.
A log of the chaotic, copy-paste-fueled, caffeine-ridden developer journey I’m on.

This is where I document:

  • Code snippets that saved the day (or destroyed it)

  • Linux commands that felt like forbidden magic

  • AI adventures that went full Skynet

  • Rants when VSCode auto-update broke everything

  • Wins that came after 10 hours of debugging

  • and the brutally honest reality of building tech while staying sane

From Copy-Paste to Conscious Code

Let’s be real — we all started the same way.
Ctrl+C from Stack Overflow.
Ctrl+V into our terminal.
Hope for the best.
Pray nothing explodes.
When it does explode, Google the error. Repeat.

But over time, something changed. I stopped just copying. I started understanding. I started tweaking, testing, optimizing.

What began as blind faith in strangers' code evolved into something deeper:
A real grasp of systems, logic, and creativity.
That shift — from noob to almost knowing what I’m doing — is what I’m here to share.

Why the Pokémon Metaphor?

Because like any true adventure, coding feels like being dropped into the world with:

  • zero idea of what’s coming

  • a single overpowered sidekick (ChatGPT 💥)

  • and a goal that keeps evolving.

There are gym battles (a.k.a. deadlines), wild bug encounters, rival devs, stack overflows (pun intended), and game-changing upgrades when you finally master that one damn library.

And just like Ash never gave up — no matter how many times Pikachu got smoked — I keep pushing. Keep learning. Keep breaking things and fixing them harder.

What's Coming?

This blog is gonna be a chaotic mix of:

  • ✍️ Dev Diaries

  • 🧠 AI Experiments

  • 🛠️ Linux Tweak Sessions

  • 🧵 Long Threads Turned Into Posts

  • 🔥 Framework Reviews

  • 😤 Rants when tech betrays me

  • 💡 Life lessons hidden in terminal logs

If you’ve ever typed a command with full confidence only to brick your system...
If you've ever said “I'll just fix this real quick” and lost an entire weekend...
If your best debugging buddy is an AI that refuses to judge you...
You're in the right place.

One Last Thing...

I’m not writing this blog to teach.
I’m writing to share, reflect, and occasionally scream into the void.

If you learn something along the way — cool.
If you laugh at my pain — even better.
If you relate — then you're already part of this saga.

Welcome to Ctrl+C Confessions.
This is my story. This is our story.

Time to catch 'em all — one bug at a time.
