✨ My Journey into Software Development

Hi everyone 👋,

Today, I want to share how my journey into software development began and where I am today.

I completed my B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). From school itself, I always had an interest in coding. Back then, I enjoyed writing small programs out of curiosity, but I never really thought I would end up choosing development as a career.

During college placements, they started teaching us Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), and that turned out to be a game-changer for me. Problem solving gave me a different level of satisfaction.

I realised that for one problem, there can be multiple approaches and solutions – it all depends on how we look at it and choose to solve it. This concept fascinated me. It was during that time that I truly understood myself better and realised how much I loved coding and problem solving.

From there, I decided to take it seriously and followed a simple strategy:

💡 Every single day, I solved at least one DSA problem and posted it on LinkedIn.

This small habit brought a huge change. Posting daily kept me consistent. Even on days when I felt tired, lazy, or had a hard day, this commitment pushed me to solve at least one problem. Over time, my skills improved, my confidence grew, and eventually, this consistency helped me get placed as a developer.

Currently, I am working as an SDE (Software Development Engineer) with over a year of experience. I’ve worked on full stack projects, integrating APIs, working with databases, and debugging production issues. Each challenge has helped me grow as a developer, and I continue to learn every single day.

Even now, when I work on new modules or features, I carry the same problem-solving mindset with me. Thinking of different approaches, deeply analysing problems, and finding the most efficient solutions – all of this still gives me the same excitement I felt during my DSA learning days.
