Lionel Messi found his scoring form again by netting two goals, helping Inter Miami beat the New York Red Bulls 5-1 in Major League Soccer on Saturday. Miami had suffered a 3-0 loss to FC Cincinnati just a few days earlier, but this time they bounced back strongly at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.

The Red Bulls started well and took an early lead in the 14th minute with a goal from Alexander Hack. However, Messi quickly helped Miami recover. He made a perfect pass to Jordi Alba, who scored the equalizer in the 24th minute. Just three minutes later, Messi and Alba combined again, with Alba setting up Telasco Segovia to score Miami’s second goal and give them the lead.

Segovia scored his second goal just before halftime, giving Inter Miami a strong lead.

In the second half, Messi took control of the game.

At the 60th minute, Sergio Busquets, another of Messi’s old Barcelona teammates, made a great pass to him. Messi calmly ran towards goal, tricked the Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel, and scored to make it 4-1.

Later, Luis Suarez, also from Barcelona, crossed the ball from the left. Messi stopped the ball near the goal and smashed it in to score his second of the night.
