Quick Little Introduction

Well, here goes nothing.

Hey, I am Rishit Vakare, and welcome to Cache Me If You Can. I am about to be a third year Computer Science student at Georgia Tech. When I’m not staring at VS code pretending to debug or code, I would say I’m either reading, running some poker, hitting the gym, watching some sports (preferably soccer), or testing out some new recipes in the kitchen (not the best at it though). You are probably wondering why I’m here and the answer is simple - to grow.

I started this with the intention of having a space that is all of the following things, a technical journal, creative outlet, and coping mechanism, to all just make sense and survive in the rapidly shifting world around us. Too often, I might learn something or read up on something new, and before I can even process it completely, it’s just gone from my memory, somehow or someway. This is my way of “caching” those moments, not just for myself but for you guys as well. This is just a way for me to turn all my messy terminal errors and thoughts into readable reflections for you guys.

What You Can Expect

  • Tech Deep Dives - Exploring what I have built, broken, or straight up just pushed to the side for another time.

  • Project Retrospectives : Honest looks and talks about my work - the good, the buggy, and the worst

  • Tech News & Investments : Thoughts about what is popping off in the tech world and why your favorite startup’s IPO could 10x….or implode

  • Personal Reflections : Random detours into random thoughts, burnouts and motivations, and my favorite, rants about why repetitive terminal errors only seem to happen to me

Whether you are here to learn something new or hear my jokes, welcome aboard and hopefully, I can make someone’s journey a little bit easier with this (or at least more entertaining). Don’t clear your cache though because you will want to come back!
