Hey, I guess the weekend blog would be a more justified title ๐Ÿ˜….

The title reflects my blog number, I started with the courses in ML a while back though!

1) Univ Courses Update:

I am currently doing Stanford CS224n: Deep Learning for NLP course

The initial part of the course seemed redundant for me, so I am a bit stochastic in my approach:

Lectures completed:

  1. Backpropagation and Neural Network Basics (Lec-3)

  2. Final Projects: Custom and Default; Practical Tips (Lec-7)

  3. Transformers (Lec-8)

2) Bootcamps/ Code along courses:

I am also watching and actively coding along with Build a LLM (From Scratch) by Sebastian Raschka, will add the link to the GitHub repo by next week!

Managed to complete:

  1. Set up your code environment

  2. Working with text data

  3. Coding attention mechanisms

3) Key Insights someone in the beginning may benefit from:

The TRANSFORMERS architecture is something that has revolutionized the Deep Learning field ( as said by some famous people from the field). To understand what it is, as a beginner it might help to go through the following courses:

  1. Neural Networks by 3Blue1Brown

  2. CS224n Lec-8

4) ? Health update ?

Managed to do weight training and cardio each day of the week! ๐Ÿ˜
