Monday Mantra — A Weekly Reminder to Myself!

Self-Awareness 🧘♂️(1/7)
Don’t judge others.
Don’t compare yourself with others.
Don’t forget you are human.
Know your strengths, weaknesses and aptitude — know yourself.
Strangely, your weaknesses often triumph over your strengths unless you robustly control them with an iron fist.
Appetite is greater than aptitude.
Execution & Growth 🚀(2/7)
Starting something is exciting and easy; staying consistent and finishing is very tough. This is called “execution,” my friend.
Success is never guaranteed, irrespective of who you are.
Think long-term and short-term, and toggle between them as required.
Manage expectations at all levels.
Master self-control. Study better people and projects, but be original.
Failure & Feedback 📉(3/7)
No need to win every argument.
Real growth comes from negative feedback; no feedback is also feedback.
Errors, rejections are your best friends.
Knowing what not to do next is more important than knowing what to do.
Don’t repeat the same mistakes.
Some mistakes evolve over time and become right.
Perspective & Meaning 🌍(4/7)
Life has no default meaning; you give it meaning.
Life has no purpose; you can give life purpose if you want.
Help others.
Enjoy the journey and the experience — because in the end, that’s all that matters.
Relationships & Community 🤝(5/7)
Everyone will hurt you, and you’ll hurt most people.
Come what may, you are ultimately alone. No one is coming to help you; you are on your own — DIY.
Building trust and a team online is difficult.
No one wants to chat about your current projects (free tier deployment) and vision; everyone is busy chasing their own dreams.
Once your SaaS reaches $10K MRR, suddenly everyone is ready to ignore their obligations and join you to scale it further.
Don’t look for opportunities; create them for others.
Behind every online connection, there is a real human — actually talk to them.
Ownership & Leadership 🏆(6/7)
You always get less than you deserve and pay more than you owe.
The materialistic world only rewards success and results.
You reward effort and failure by learning from it.
Take ownership of your failures.
Take ownership of the failures of your team members under you.
Creativity & Appreciation 🎨(7/7)
When you see a pyramid, a Van Gogh masterpiece, read Kafka, Orwell and Hemingway; listen to Beethoven, Bach and Schubert — don’t just clap and appreciate; try to understand the enormous effort and array of failures behind the final result.
When you see something ugly, egregious or meet a pathetic prick — remember it was wonderful once, maybe for a brief time; then do whatever the hell you want.
Your life--- is dream of many people.
