Catching Up: Who I Am and What I'm Working On

Hey, I’m Ektoras!
I’m starting this blog to post daily about my growth and learning journey in cybersecurity, to keep you updated on my ongoing projects and background.
I’m currently a 4th-year Informatics and Telecommunications student, and I’ve been passionate about cybersecurity for the past six months.
So far, I’ve built a solid foundation in basic networking, OS knowledge (Linux and Windows), and more.
Right now, I’m working on my bachelor’s thesis — an all-in-one defensive and offensive hacking tool that helps with the entire process from reconnaissance to post-exploitation. I call it RedRoom (yeah, the name took me days to pick).
At the same time, I’m diving deep into SOC concepts and blue teaming, but I’m not skipping offensive techniques. To me, the best defense comes from understanding the offensive capabilities of your “opponent.”
Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’ll be sharing updates, projects, and what I’m learning along the way.
