Last night, the US completed three attacks on separate nuclear sites across Iran. These were completed at 2:30am Local Time (11:00pm UTC) by US Forces.

The following was used; Seven B‑2 Spirit stealth bombers dropped fourteen 30,000‑lb bunker‑buster bombs (GBU‑57A/B MOPs) on these sites, alongside a Submarine‑launched Tomahawk cruise missiles which simultaneously struck Isfahan. Overall, the coordinated assault took about 25–30 minutes

But, after these attacks on Iran, what could this mean for you?

Firstly, if you live outside the Middle East, you may get higher oil prices especially if it goes through the Strait of Hormuz which Iran controls. Although it is ~20% of Global Oil goes through that area, it may still affect how much you pay for oil, gas and fuel.

Secondly, is the potential for cyberattacks or terrorism. Over the past couple years Iran has shown high capability in cyberwarfare and might retaliate by targeting infrastructure in the U.S., Europe, or allies. That could mean power grid disruptions, financial system hacks, or disinformation campaigns online.

Also, Military escalation and global tension is a big one, especially when Russia condemned the attacks that the US has done on Iran since the both countries are tight allies. But, North Korea has also gotten involved and has mentioned the following.

‘North Korea is willing to provide Nuclear Weapons to Iran if it secures lasting peace.’ — Via @DramaAlert on X (Formally Twitter)

But overall it is a tough situation at the moment especially since the whole view is changing each minute with what comes in.
