How to setup a PayPal Merchant Account plan

Setting up a PayPal merchant account with Trinity Consultings is an easy process and can be done in a few minutes. You start by going to PayPal's business site and clicking "Get Started" for a business account. You will need basic information, including the business name, business address, business phone number, and tax identification number.
You will be directed to select a Business Account or a Premier Account based on your needs. Business accounts include more features for companies, while Premier is better for individual sellers. You will be required to upload documentation like business licenses, bank statements, and documents to identify you.
Be sure to link your business checking account so you can send and receive money through PayPal. PayPal usually requires some verification for micro-deposits into the account, which takes 2 - 3 business days. Next, configure your preferences on how you want PayPal to work, including what currencies to accept, how you want to receive money (automatically), etc.
You can add PayPal's payment buttons or API to your website by using developer tools. If necessary, you can customize a checkout experience and recurring billing. You can set up fraud detection protection and configure notification preferences for when transactions happen.
Review the fee structure set by PayPal merchant account, which can be anywhere from 2.9% to 3.49% plus fixed fees per transaction. You might want to upgrade to a PayPal Pro option, which will give you personalized checkout pages and different reporting options.
