My Journey from Doubt to Development

“Maybe tech isn’t for me…”
That thought crossed my mind more than once. But here’s how I found my answer.
🎓 Life After Graduation
Right after graduating, I was stuck.
Despite holding a Computer Science degree, I wasn’t sure if tech was really my path.
I kept asking myself:
Should I try teaching? A government job? Or something else entirely?
It wasn’t that I lacked capability - I just lacked clarity.
I wanted to do something meaningful. But the question that haunted me was:
What should I learn? What’s truly meant for me?
🔍 The Phase of Exploration
So I tried exploring.
I dabbled in Data Analytics.
Learned Python, SQL, Excel…
It was interesting, but over time, I hit burnout.
That same emptiness came back.
🎯 The Shift
Then something shifted.
I stopped forcing myself to pick “the right” field.
Instead, I started listening to myself.
I remembered my younger self, wondering how websites worked.
That curiosity was always there - I had just buried it beneath expectations and confusion.
So I dug it out again.
And slowly, step by step, I started building.
🛠️ The Building Begins
🧱 HTML
🎨 CSS
🧠 JavaScript
And with that, I found something that gave me purpose.
I started loving development - the creativity, the problem-solving, the impact
🌍 What I Realized
✅ The tech world will always evolve.
✅ AI might change how we work.
But developers who solve real problems will always be needed.
Today, I’m on the journey to becoming a developer - Not because someone told me to,
But because I finally realized it brings out the best in me.
A Message to Anyone Who Feels Lost
If you’re feeling lost right now - I’ve been there.
But you're not stuck.
Keep exploring.
Keep asking questions.
You’ll find your thing.
This isn’t a success story (yet).
But it’s my story.
And it’s real.
