Into Quantum Computing before clearing BACKLOGS

Life doesn't always go as planned. I somehow ended up in Computer Science Engineering — not entirely by choice, not entirely by accident either. Somewhere in the chaos of lecture halls and attendance sheets, I stumbled across something that actually grabbed my attention: Quantum Computing.
It wasn’t a part of any curriculum. It showed up randomly — in a Google News feed. I clicked. I read. And I couldn’t stop. The words “superposition,” “qubits,” and “entanglement” sounded like sci-fi at first. But as I dug deeper, I realized this isn’t just future tech — this is the next big revolution. And it's already happening.
Why now though?
I’ll be honest — I’ve got backlogs(I had an accident in my first semester). I was waiting to “clear those first” before doing anything else. Waiting for the right time. But I learned the hard way: waiting never works. Time doesn’t pause while you "figure it out." So instead of waiting for the perfect grades or perfect moment, I chose to start anyway.
Now I’m deep-diving into quantum physics while still figuring out pointers in C(Not literally; I've done basic DSA.). Wild combo? Absolutely. But it makes sense to me.
What’s the plan?
I’m starting small. Beginner-friendly books. Free courses. Videos when I need visual intuition. I’ve structured my learning to match my semester load (and yes, some hostel chill time ). I’m not trying to become a quantum prodigy overnight. I just want to understand it well enough to contribute someday — to work under a professor or build projects when I’m ready.
This blog? It’s my digital notebook. My way of keeping track and keeping myself accountable. One post at a time, one idea at a time.
So yeah — I haven’t cleared all my backlogs yet. But I’m learning quantum physics. Because inspiration doesn’t wait for a clean transcript.
Stay tuned.
