Windrow compost turning machines are critical equipment for raw material fermentation in organic fertilizer production line. Safe and proper operation directly impacts operational efficiency and equipment life. Strictly adhere to the following precautions during operation to ensure both operator and machine safety and operational quality.

Pre-operation inspection is fundamental to safe operation. Ensure the track tension is appropriate to avoid derailment due to excessive looseness or increased wear due to excessive tightness. Check the engine oil level, coolant level, and hydraulic oil levels to ensure proper operation of all systems. Clear the operating area of any hard objects, such as rocks and rebar, to prevent damage to the dumper teeth. Operators must wear protective equipment such as non-slip gloves and safety shoes. Loose clothing or scarves are strictly prohibited to prevent entanglement in mechanical components.

Strictly adhere to operating procedures during operation. After starting, allow the machine to idle for 3-5 minutes until the hydraulic system pressure stabilizes and the engine water temperature reaches the specified level before operating. During dumping, adjust the blade height according to the material thickness and maintain a uniform feed rate to avoid malfunctions caused by excessive load. Do not drive sideways on slopes exceeding 15° to prevent rollover. When pausing during operation, lower the dumper shaft to the ground to avoid accidentally touching the operating lever while suspended.

Handling special situations requires emergency response capabilities. If you detect unusual noises, vibrations, or oil leaks, immediately stop the machine for inspection. Never operate while faulty. If the tracks are stuck in mud, do not force them out; use wooden blocks to pave the way and slowly move the machine out. Stop outdoor operations during thunderstorms and move the machine to a higher location to prevent lightning damage to the electrical system.

Post-operation maintenance is equally critical. Clean any remaining material from the dumper shaft, inspect the blades for wear, and replace any damaged blades promptly. Drain the oil-water separator and refill all lubrication points with grease. Park the machine on a flat, dry surface, apply the parking brake, and chock the wheels to prevent slipping.

Following these precautions will maximize the operational efficiency of your windrow compost turning machine while effectively reducing equipment failure rates, extending its service life, and providing a solid guarantee for production safety.
