How Google’s NotebookLM Studio Can Instantly Generate AI Explainer Videos From Any Source

Google has quietly upgraded NotebookLM with a feature that feels like a sneak peek into the future of content automation: Video Overviews.
In just a few steps, you can now turn raw information — like pasted text, long articles, and even YouTube transcripts — into fully narrated, slide-style videos. It works inside the redesigned Studio panel, which also supports outputs like mind maps, audio summaries, and reports.
🔧 How it works:
Create a new notebook
Add sources (copied text, YouTube links, web searches)
Open the Studio panel and choose Video Overview
Customize tone and style of the AI narrator
Generate and download a complete, narrated video
I tested the feature with multiple sources, including a transcript about the quantum internet and a YouTube video on AI tools — and the result was a surprisingly smooth, informative visual summary.
