SkyFi Open Data provides access to Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, covering nearly all land surfaces and coastal areas worldwide. This includes regions across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, and many remote islands. Only the extreme polar regions and open oceans are excluded.
You can search for imagery by panning the SkyFi map to your area of interest and selecting โSearchโ under Open Data. Whether youโre looking at farmland in India, the Amazon rainforest, or your own neighborhood, chances are imagery is available. Each Sentinel-2 pass covers a 290 km-wide swath, with global tiling that ensures full land coverage.
If your area of interest spans multiple tiles or crosses map zones, multiple images may be needed, but full coverage is still possible. Sentinel-2 also supports monitoring of coastal waters, though not deep ocean areas.
SkyFi Open Data is especially useful for projects in regions where commercial imagery is harder to obtain. It provides free, frequent, and global access to satellite imagery for land and near-shore environments.
Try SkyFi Open Data today. Find your region, search the map, and get free satellite imagery.
