When will Rohit-Virat return?
Well, now the return of both the legends to international cricket will probably happen in Australia tour in October 2025, where the Indian team will play three ODIs and five T20 matches. Let us tell you that, Virat Kohli has also shared his ambition of winning the ODI World Cup 2027 in a program, while Rohit Sharma is focusing on fitness.
According to media reports, the BCCI is going to discuss the future of both the players soon. A BCCI source said, “Yes, it will be discussed soon. The next World Cup is still more than two years away. Both Kohli and Rohit will be 40 years old by then, so there should be a clear plan for this big event, as our last victory was in 2011. We will also have to try some youngsters in time.” It is worth noting that the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027 is going to be held in South Africa this time. This ICC tournament may also prove to be the last ICC tournament of Rohit-Virat’s career, in which both of them would like to leave their mark.
