Automatic Identification System (AIS) data is essential for monitoring vessel movements, but traditional AIS often has coverage limitations, especially in remote ocean regions.

Enhanced Satellite AIS uses a combination of satellite, terrestrial, and dynamic AIS sources to increase coverage and update frequency. This dataset captures approximately 115,000 vessels and over 67 million AIS messages each day across oceans, ports, and busy maritime zones.

• Real-time vessel tracking

• Historical analysis with data available from October 2018

• Fleet monitoring and maritime risk assessment

The data is available as a .CSV file, filtered by area and timeframe. It can be integrated into existing systems for operational analysis or long-term research.
