CBSE Launches Career Guidance Dashboard, Counseling Support Model

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched two key initiatives — the Career Guidance Dashboard and the Counseling Hub and Spoke School Model — aimed at improving both career readiness and mental health support for students in the 2025–26 academic session.
Unveiled on August 7, these initiatives are part of CBSE’s broader efforts to provide holistic student development. The Career Guidance Dashboard is designed to assist students in making informed academic and professional decisions by offering access to career resources, interest-based assessments, and planning tools. The platform will be accessible to students through their schools and provides guidance aligned with their strengths and aspirations.
Alongside this, the CBSE Counseling Hub and Spoke School Model focuses on enhancing psychosocial support in schools. Under this model, mentor hub schools will act as resource centres and work closely with spoke schools to implement structured counseling programs. This collaborative approach aims to create a supportive environment where students can receive timely mental health assistance and career advice.
CBSE's move reflects the growing recognition of the need for integrated support systems in education — addressing both academic ambitions and emotional well-being.
Schools affiliated with CBSE are encouraged to integrate these resources and actively participate in the network to ensure comprehensive student support.
