Application Process

For best results, proper surface preparation is essential. Apply three coats of Dulux Velvet Touch Marble using a trowel in your chosen colour.

Coat 1: Get complete coverage - hiding the base surface - then allow a dry time of 6–8 hours.

Coat 2: Black the surface out with a thin random textural coat, then allow for dry time again.

Coat 3: Use a very thin coat and fill out with the trowel blade for a smooth finish. Buffing will give a satin or glossy finish.

Always sand lightly between coats for a smooth texture. Avoid hot, dry, or windy conditions during application, and maintain a room temperature of 20°C to 35°C. Small-scale trials are recommended before painting large areas.

Health and Safety

Keep product out of reach of children and use in a well-ventilated area. Minimize contact with skin/eyes. Use personal protective equipment. Do not inhale vapors or dust from painting or sanding. Store paint in a cool, shaded location to prevent overheating, and tightly seal the container. Follow local disposal regulations once the container is empty.
