No Hype Tech Journal: Apps, Automation, Repairs

Hey, I’m Raymond. I’m an IT guy and AI nerd in the Detroit area. Most days I’m building apps, fixing tough computer issues for clients, and messing around with AI to see what actually helps.

I wanted a quiet spot to keep track of what I’m learning, what worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do again. I’ve posted on Reddit and elsewhere for years, but the noise and performative arguing make it hard to share anything thoughtful. So this space is different. No hype, no “growth,” no schedule. Just a personal log: notes, experiments, wins, lessons, and the occasional rant about tech that should work but doesn’t.

I’m not chasing comments or reach. If someone finds something useful, great. If not, this is still my record of what I tried, learned, and shipped.

If you like practical AI, building with as little friction as possible, and tech that earns its keep, you’ll probably feel at home. Welcome.
