Siraj is very close to Kohli, Kohli’s signed jersey was seen hanging at home, see photo

Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has framed his idol Virat Kohli’s last Test match jersey at his Hyderabad home. Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket in the month of May this year, and his last Test match was played during the fifth Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Sydney.
In that match, both the teams wore pink themed jerseys as part of the McGrath Foundation’s cancer awareness campaign. The special thing is that the jersey that Siraj has is signed by Kohli himself.
Let us tell you that the friendship between Siraj and Kohli is quite old, which started with playing together in RCB. Virat showed faith in Siraj’s talent in the early days and gave him continuous opportunities. After consistently performing impressively in the IPL, Siraj established himself as a reliable fast bowler for India.
In a picture that recently went viral on social media, Siraj is seen sitting on a sofa with one of his close friends. In the picture, his friend is seen busy on the laptop, but the frame of Virat’s jersey on the wall is attracting everyone’s attention.

Siraj’s performance in the series and Kohli’s reaction
Siraj took charge of the pace attack in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah throughout the series on the England tour, and became the highest wicket-taker with 23 wickets. Virat Kohli, who closely watched this victory, expressed his happiness by posting on X, where he wrote “Team India’s great victory. The hard work and passion of Siraj and Prasidh gave us a great result. I would especially like to mention Siraj, who gives his all for the team. I am very happy for him.”
