Here are the plans you can choose to use Red5 Cloud:

1. Pay-As-You-Grow

Ideal for small-scale testing, hobby projects, or early-stage development. Begin with the free tier that doesn’t require a credit card and gives you

  • 50 GBs of streaming each month.

  • 6,000 instance hours per month.

  • 1 region hosting only – US Central.

  • ABR Transcoding.

  • Access to product documentation and email support.

Once you reach the monthly 50 GBs limit, you have two options:

  • Continue streaming straight away with our usage-based pricing model, Pay-As-You-Grow, where you will need to provide your credit card. This tier charges you only for the bandwidth and resources you consume – $0.08 per GB and $0.69 per instance hour. There’s no monthly minimum, and you’re never locked into a fixed commitment.

  • Or wait till the next monthly cycle to get the next 50 GBs.

2. Growth

For teams that need higher limits, reserved bandwidth, or predictable monthly costs, the Growth Plan offers volume-based pricing and premium support. You can start your journey with this subscription or upgrade to it directly from your dashboard.

The plan includes:

  • 10,000 GBs of streaming each month.

  • 10,000 instance hours per month.

  • Multi-region support. Your streaming servers can be hosted in the 10 regions: Australia East (Sydney), Brazil East (Sao Paulo), Canada Southeast (Toronto), Mexico Central (Queretaro), US East (Ashburn), US West (San Jose), Italy Northwest (Milan), UK West (Newport), Saudi Arabia West (Jeddah), Singapore (Singapore).

  • Unlimited access to Transcoding, Live Mixer, and Stream Manager API.

  • Unlimited scaling.

  • In addition to product documentation and email support, you’ll get prioritized help through access to a private channel in our community Slack.

Once you reach the monthly 10,000 GBs limit, you will be charged for overages at $0.05 per GB and $0.37 per instance hour.

3. Enterprise Plan

For established organizations with advanced requirements, higher traffic, and the need for dedicated support, the Enterprise Plan delivers maximum performance, flexibility, and service guarantees. It’s designed for businesses that rely on real-time streaming as a core part of their operations and need more control over infrastructure and support.

The plan includes:

  • 20,000 GBs of streaming each month.

  • 10,000 instance hours.

  • Multi-region support at the same level as the Growth Plan, with access to 10 globally distributed regions.

  • Unlimited access to Transcoding, Live Mixer, and Stream Manager API.

  • Unlimited scaling.

  • In addition to product documentation, email, and private Slack support, you will have access to 24/7 phone support.

  • Custom feature support.

  • Guaranteed SLA.

Once you reach the monthly 20,000 GBs limit, you will be charged for GB and instance hour overages at discounted pricing exclusive to this tier.

Improvements

  • Dynamic Preprocessing Toggle: Dynamic preprocessing is now enabled by default. A new “Dynamic” slider has been added next to “Preprocessing” in the Node Group settings, giving users greater control with simpler setup.

  • Bandwidth & Instance Usage Reporting: A new usage report is available, allowing users to track bandwidth and instance hour consumption across monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly intervals. Reports are filterable by user and date range.

  • RTSP Push Streaming Support: Users can now push RTSP streams directly through the Streams UI, expanding input options and flexibility.

  • Streams Page Enhancements: Some items were renamed and rearranged for clarity, and pagination was added.

  • Node Group Settings Tooltips: Information icons have been added to key fields like ABR Transcoding, Mixer, and Preprocessing, providing helpful descriptions for easier configuration.

  • Developer Resources Update: SDK license information is now displayed in the Developer Resources section for quick reference.

Bug Fixes

  • Stream from My Camera Fix: Resolved an issue where streaming wouldn’t start if multiple node groups existed. The correct node group is now referenced during stream start.

  • Last Login Date Display: Fixed an issue where trial users’ last login showed “Invalid date.” It now defaults to the current time if session data is unavailable.

  • Login and Email Validation Issues: Corrected bugs that caused false email validation errors and login failures in certain environments.

  • Stream Visibility Reliability: Improved reliability of stream appearance on first attempt by adding retry logic when loading the stream.

  • Other: MinorUI corrections and repairs.
