Switch back to Outlook classic


Reverting to the Traditional Outlook Interface
Step 1:
Open the new outlook
Look for new Outlook Toggle button on top right
Turn off the new Outlook
Close the Out look and Open again
Or alternate Method
Open regedit as admin
Important Disclaimer: Modifying system registry settings can potentially lead to system instability. Always create a comprehensive backup of your registry before attempting any changes.
Steps to Adjust Outlook Interface:
1. Access Registry Editor
- Open the Start Menu
- Search and launch "Registry Editor"
2. Navigate to Outlook Preferences Path
- Locate: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences
3. Modify Interface Settings
- Find the "UseNewOutlook" entry
- Adjust value data:
* Set to 0 for classic Outlook interface
* Set to 1 for new Outlook interface
4. Apply Changes
- Completely restart Outlook application
Alternative Method:
- Modify the "NewOutlookMigrationUserSetting" key to prevent automatic upgrades to the new Outlook interface during system updates.
Recommendation: Exercise extreme caution and consider consulting IT support if you're uncertain about registry modifications.
