The Best Content Writing Internship Out There: My Journey with WeDidIt

I discovered this incredible opportunity via Internshala*.*
The application process was straightforward: submit a writing assignment on a given topic, and happily I was shortlisted.
The Internship at a Glance
Duration & Commitment: A 1-month, part-time (just one hour a day) unpaid internship — super easy to fit into any schedule.
Minimal Requirements: Only basic writing skills required, making it accessible and a great opportunity to get started.
What I Learned
- Reading “5 Killer Habits” by Sree Krishna Seelam (founder of WeDidIt and middlemen.asia) was eye-opening. The book’s insights pushed me to reflect — and I ended up improving my own writing habits significantly. It was inspiring to write about concepts I genuinely connected with, and it helped my writing voice grow.
Check out my reflection on 5 killer habits:
- HubSpot Academy’s Content Marketing Course was part of the internship curriculum. I learned practical techniques around SEO, writing for organic views, and content strategy.
Hands-on Platform Experience: I got to create and manage content across multiple blog channels, which was incredibly useful for building my online presence.
Motivation Mechanics: We were assigned weekly tasks with a points-based system for execution and leadership, this gamified approach kept me motivated to consistently improve.
Sunday Meet-ups with the Founder: Each week, we had a half-hour conversation with Sree Krishna to discuss ideas, feedback, or anything under the sun. It was personal, inspiring, and rare for an internship to offer that kind of direct dialogue.
Organization Mission & Values
WeDidIt emphasizes nurturing empathy, service, and leadership among young minds. Their core mission is “to leave this planet a better place than it was before we arrived,” with focus areas including combating poverty, hunger, inequality, and environmental issues — all mapped to UN Sustainable Development Goals wedidit.in. They firmly believe that serving others without expecting anything in return builds character and future leaders
Reflection & Final Thoughts
This internship was more than just writing, it was a deeply reflective journey that sharpened my content skills, broadened my perspective, and gave me a sense of impact. From reading “5 Killer Habits” and internalizing its lessons, to mastering SEO through HubSpot, and engaging in meaningful interactions with the founder — I grew immensely.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-grab, meaningful internship that blends learning, motivation, and purpose — this one is hands down the best.
