Basit Ali Suggests India Should Skip Asia Cup Clash Against Pakistan to Avoid Humiliation

The Indian cricket team refused to play against Pakistan in the World Championship of Legends due to previous conflicts, including the Pahalgam war. They boycotted the match twice, but each time. Basit Ali believes that India should do the same in the upcoming Asia Cup. According to the former Pakistani cricketer, if the game is played, India will make Pakistan’s situation worse.
According to the schedule, India and Pakistan are scheduled to face each other in Dubai on September 14. The two countries can face each other twice more if they reach the Super Four and the final. Pakistan recently lost the ODI series to the West Indies. The country’s cricketers are not in form. Basit feels that Pakistan will be further embarrassed if they go to play the Asia Cup in this condition.
Basit said on the YouTube channel ‘The Gameplan’, ‘I pray that India somehow doesn’t want to play against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Just like they did in the World Championship of Legends. If they do, they will beat us so badly that you can’t even imagine.’
According to Basit, ‘If Pakistan loses to Afghanistan, it’s fine. But they can’t lose to India. He said, even if we lose to Afghanistan, the people of the country will not get anything. But if we lose to India, everyone will go crazy.’
