Week 3 | 4

Could have studied a lot more than I did in the past couple of weeks

Hey, late again, won’t change the published date, so that I can come into the habit of being punctual!

1) Univ Courses Update:

I hopped between Stanford CS336, CMU 11-711, Stanford CS224N

Lectures completed:

Saw multiple lectures, but didn’t revisit them so won’t like to count them, I will do more reading and re-watching in the following week.

Assignments:

Tried to Start with Assignment 1 of CS336, they were True to their word when they said “It is a very implantation heavy class”.

Spent few hours just understanding the BPE tokenization, rewatching Andrej Karpathy’s video, and coding the blog from Sebastian Raschka

2) Bootcamps/ Code along courses:

Redid the first 5 lessons of Sebastian Raschka’s book LLMs from scratch, definitely know a bit more now.

4) ?Battery?

I usually try to watch something informative during breakfast, someday this week I came across this video on CATL Na+ battery by Matt Ferrell. I am a big fan of Tesla and so will explore this topic more in the coming week hopefully, and share what I learnt, the resource, or maybe a small writeup!
