The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are India’s premier engineering and technology institutions, producing globally renowned alumni. Admission to IITs requires qualifying JEE Main, then JEE Advanced, followed by JoSAA counseling. Currently, there are 23 IITs across India offering B.Tech, B.Arch, and other programs. Cutoffs vary by category, and admission is strictly based on JEE Advanced scores.
