B.Sc Colleges and their Beauty

Thirty years. That’s how long I’ve been teaching. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that every college has its own soul. Some breathe innovation, some radiate discipline, while others simply give you that warm feeling of belonging.

Let me take you through some of the B.Sc colleges where I had the privilege to teach—and more importantly, to learn from my students.

I still remember my time at MCM DAV College for Women. The energy there was unmatched. Young women walking into my classroom, ready to question, ready to lead. Teaching there felt less like a job and more like being part of a movement for empowerment.

Then, at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College, life slowed down. The atmosphere was disciplined, almost meditative. Students here balanced sharp intellect with humility—it was a rare blend, and I often found myself inspired by them.

Hindustan College of Arts & Science in Chennai, on the other hand, was buzzing with creativity. The labs were alive with ideas, and the faculty were always pushing the boundaries of what science education could look like. For me, it was a refreshing space where curiosity truly thrived.

Then came Guru Nanak College. What struck me most was the diversity. Students from different walks of life came together, creating a community where everyone found a place. It reminded me that education is also about learning from each other.

At The Oxford College of Science in Bangalore, I saw technology transforming classrooms. Smart tools, modern labs, and a faculty team that believed in preparing students for a global stage—it was a sign of how far education had come.

Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts & Science was different again. Here, learning spilled outside classrooms—into projects, industrial visits, and internships. The emphasis was always on making science practical, and I could see students grow more confident every day.

At AIMS Institutes, the focus was holistic. Academic growth mattered, but so did personality development and placements. Watching students transform into professionals ready for the world was deeply rewarding.

I also can’t forget Hindusthan College of Arts & Science. The calm, green campus gave space for curiosity to bloom. Students here were unafraid to experiment—and that, to me, is the essence of science.

CMS College of Science & Commerce stood out for its culture of inquiry. Questions were welcomed, not silenced. I loved how students challenged even established theories—it showed me they weren’t just learning, they were thinking.

Finally, Rathinam College of Arts & Science. This was where education met industry. Internships, placements, and direct exposure meant students were already career-ready when they graduated. It made me proud to see them step straight into jobs.

And of course, my journey wouldn’t be complete without the B.Sc Colleges in Delhi. Teaching in the capital meant engaging with some of the sharpest young minds in the country. The exposure students received there—through research, internships, and proximity to India’s knowledge hubs—made Delhi a very special chapter in my career.
