LinkedIn gives you a couple of easy ways to save or download a professional document that highlights your experience. You can quickly generate a PDF snapshot of your profile, which captures your work history, education, and skills exactly as they appear online. This is ideal when you need something fast and consistent.
You can also upload your own document for a more customized look, keeping it attached to your profile and updating it whenever needed. The snapshot offers speed and accuracy, while the upload option provides flexibility and polish—making it simple to share your background in the format that best fits your needs.
💻 Save Your Profile as a PDF (Desktop) 💻
1. Open linkedin.com and sign in.
2. Click Me (top right) → View Profile.
3. Click Resources (next to “Add profile section” or “Enhance Profile”) → Save as PDF.
4. A PDF of your profile will download to your computer.
Note:
* This file is a LinkedIn-formatted version of your resume and based on what you have added to your profile.
* The much herald Linkedin Resume Builder is no more

Tips & Troubleshooting
If you don’t see Save as PDF, try using a desktop browser—it’s more reliable.
Pop-up blockers can prevent downloads. Temporarily allow pop-ups for LinkedIn.
If you need a Word document, convert the PDF afterward.
Downloading someone else’s resume isn’t possible unless they’ve attached it to their Featured section. In that case, click it and use its Download button.
The Linkedin mobile app’s three-dot (More) menu doesn’t include Save as PDF anymore. Also, a true PDF download does not exist using your mobile browser. However, you can select Share → Print → Save as PDF as a fallback option if need be, but this will be a PDF of the entire Profile in web page form.
