👋 Hi, I’m Peter – Welcome to My Learning Journey

Hi there, I am Peter Adegboye. I am a final year forestry student in the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, but my curiosity has always reached far beyond the wonders of trees and elegance of forests. I am fascinated by data, Artificial Intelligence, and how the universe works. Over time I realized that I don’t just want to learn quietly on my own. I want to create, experiment, and bring these interests together into something meaningful. Something that can inspire, innovate, and make a real impact.

I have to be honest though. Staying consistent has not been easy for me. The fear of failure has often made me pause instead of pushing forward. But I have come to realize that growth doesn’t always have to happen in silence. By sharing my journey publicly, I create a sense of accountability for myself. It’s a way to keep showing up, even on days I feel like giving up, and to prove that by God’s help, I can build something from scratch and see it through.

🌱 Why I’m Writing

I believe that learning in public is one of the most powerful ways to grow. By documenting my progress, my struggles, and even the small wins, I hope to:

• Track my own growth and see how far I’ve come

• Encourage anyone starting from an unconventional background like mine to take bold steps

• My exploration of AI and computer vision, with a focus on applications in astronomy, robotics, animation, and gaming. This is part of a long-term goal to merge these fields into something that can spark innovation and create opportunities, especially for Africa, while also inspiring the world;

• Thoughts on astronomy and the cosmic balance of the universe 🌌;

• Updates on my personal projects, like a tree species recommendation app I am currently working on as my final year project in school.
