My RoboCon 2025 Journey — How It Began 🚀

It was the 7th of September, 2024, a day that didn’t feel any different at first. Out of the blue, one of my friends forwarded me a Google Form. It was for the recruitment of RoboCon 2025, to represent Team Falcon from our college.

At that moment, I honestly had no idea what RoboCon even was. I had heard the name here and there, but I never really thought much about it. For me, filling the form felt more like a casual step — “Let’s just try it out and see what happens.”

Little did I know, that simple click on Submit was about to open the doors to a whole new chapter of my life.

The Call That Changed Everything 📞

A few days later, I received a call from the same friend. He excitedly asked,

“So, were you selected?”

I replied, a bit disappointed,

“No, I don’t think so.”

He paused for a moment and then said,

“Wait, don’t worry. I’ll talk to the team leader. We’ll figure something out.”

I didn’t think much of it at the time, but to my surprise, just a few days later, on 11th November 2024, I officially got the confirmation — I was selected to be part of Team Falcon!

A Surreal Feeling ✨

The feeling was surreal. I wasn’t just joining a random club; I was becoming a part of something bigger, something exciting — a team that was preparing to compete in RoboCon 2025, one of the most prestigious robotics competitions for students.

What started as a casual form submission quickly turned into the beginning of an unforgettable journey. Looking back, I realize that sometimes the smallest decisions lead to the most impactful moments.

For me, RoboCon 2025 isn’t just about robots — it’s about teamwork, learning, growth, and chasing something that once felt out of reach.
