3 Products in 30 days- Day 1-3

I decided to do something different for September 2025.

No AI, no distractions, just pure building. It’s 3:10 a.m. right now, and I haven’t slept. I just couldn’t sleep, knowing I hadn’t planned for September to be a success and stable.

I have applied to over 118 Jobs on LinkedIn so far it hasn’t given me that big tech Job I’ve always wanted. You know the one that pays over $5k per month and with paid leaves, flexible and remote.

Which made me wonder, instead of waiting for a big tech company to hire me, why don’t I build in public till I get noticed?

So, I have decided how September will go, and I have written down steps to make it work.
No procrastination, no distractions!!

Now here’s how I would structure achieving this goal:

First off, what are the 3 products I would be working on?

  1. A portfolio website

  2. An event mobile app for iOS and Android.

  3. An e-commerce website for an Instagram hair brand

Basically, I am going solo on all these Ui and designs are all on me, and i would try rotating building on all 3 grounds every day.

Now that I know the type of products I would be building, I would conduct my research on the competition. What are they doing that I can model?

What colors would go best for that kind of app? Ui and Ux matter a lot in this space.

Well, I have started on the portfolio website construction, doing code clean-up and pushing to GitHub. I want something clean that can possibly attract clients and big companies.

For my Event mobile app, knowing it would be a clean and easy-to-use 2-in-1 mobile app with a solid database, I would be using the MERN stack to build. Since I have experience with MongoDB.

Let’s break the event app name, I would like to name it after the usual Nigerian term: “we outside” targeted towards any country or any event, for fun people that want to socialize, collect verification like ID upload going to the database, include terms for safety, and put a monthly subscription for people who want to post events. very affordable rate.

Selling point: the money is all their’s it sends to their account, which they would input in the creation of each event.

It’s free for people who want to socialize.

For e-commerce website, simple, intro with something flashy to keep website users hooked, then simply just carousels, then checkout, and the money goes to paystack account or to a Monie point business account, because of payouts 1-2 time frame.

After each checkout, it leads them to chat with me on Lutero chat or WhatsApp.

So that breaks it down a little bit.

That’s it for the 3 days update, see you again after 3 days.

My plans for the next 3 days.

  • Make sure all projects are pushed to git for updates and version control

  • Finish portfolio website text clean-up

  • Started onboarding for the event app and file structure.

  • Think of a unique idea for all your projects.

  • Create a pay stack business account for Elexis hairs. (My brand!)

That’s all for now. We have 27 days left.

We have to use it wisely! I want at the end of September I can proudly say I locked in building one solid MVP and built 2 other solid projects.

See you,

Elexis.
