This happened for the first time with Yashasvi Jaiswal, now this record remains only in the name of Sachin and Rohit

Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had a great opportunity to join the special club of legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma in the Lord’s Test. But he missed this opportunity as he got out for zero in the second innings.
Jaiswal loves scoring runs against England, and he has scored 945 runs in 8 Tests against this team at an impressive average of 67.50. However, in the Lord’s Test, he got out for zero against England for the first time, breaking his great streak.
Unique record of Sachin and Rohit
Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma are the Indian batsmen who have scored the most runs against England without getting out for zero. Sachin scored 2535 runs against England in his Test career, while Rohit added 1147 runs, and both of them never let the stain of getting out for zero against this team come.
Only these two legends hold the record of scoring more than 1000 runs against England without getting out on zero. Jaiswal was only 55 runs away from joining this exclusive club, but his streak came to an end at Lord’s.
Status of Lord’s Test: Challenge for India
In the ongoing third Test at Lord’s, England has set India a target of 193 runs to win. Chasing this score, India has lost four wickets for 58 runs by the end of the fourth day. India still needs 135 runs to win, while England needs 6 wickets to win. The fifth and final day’s play is expected to be very exciting, as both teams will try their best to win. The five-match series is currently tied at 1-1, and this match could be decisive for the series.
