15th July 2025 — A Slow Start, but a Strong One

Today didn’t start as I’d hoped. After a hectic university schedule from 10 AM to 8 PM yesterday, and powering through 3 assignments post that, I was physically and mentally drained. I missed my morning routine — but I didn't let the day go to waste.
✅ What I Accomplished Today
Despite waking up late, I still got meaningful work done:
✅ Completed Git & Command Line basics
✅ Started C++ with: Variables & Data Types
📚 Planning to finish more learning tasks later today
💡 What I Learned
📁 Git & CLI
How to initialize a Git repository with
git init
Tracking files with
git add .
Committing with meaningful messages:
git commit -m "message"
Pushing to GitHub
Basic terminal navigation and file operations
💻 C++ — Variables & Data Types
What are variables and why we use them
Primitive data types like
int
,float
,char
,bool
Variable declaration and initialization
Type modifiers:
long
,short
,unsigned
, etc.
🧘 Reflections
Not every day will be perfect, but every day can be productive if I choose to keep moving forward. I didn’t check every box, but I honored my bigger goal — to grow, learn, and stay consistent.
“Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.”
I'm choosing my future. Choosing consistency. Choosing growth. Even when it’s hard.
